  • @kachaso Thank you for your kind comments. I'm sure your boys will love it in Zim.

  • Thank you for documenting this. This was my life growing up in Zimbabwe. It's just amazing to see my early life on tape. I miss this life so much. Thanks again and keep up the good work. You are all my heroes. I will definitely share this video with my American husband and child. More power to your wife for not forgetting her roots.

P.S. You kids are excellent actors and well behaved.

  • Thank you for your kind comments. Have you viewed the Zimbabwe Village 1999 video? Perhaps it's because the children were 5 years younger then but I prefer that video to this one!

  • I love this video! I watched the one from 1999& was very impressed. I like the way you have shown some of the same things in both videos, showing that rural life hardly changes. One could have taken a video of this village 100 years ago and it would still have been the same. And the best thing about it is that with what the more developed societies might regard as so little, people seem content with their lifestyle and its simplicity. Makes you question your own life and priorities.

  • ok...um...i lived in zimbabwe...and i didn't live kumusha asikana...this is why ppl in foreign countries don't believe we have cities...I like the video and all, but I only lived like that when I visited my cousins. I spent most of my time in Harare. That's where I was born and raised.
