metallica are now a sad group of sellouts who obviously have alot of regret.
Testament, Overkill, MachineHead, Exodus, etc have all remained true to the music. It's for that reason that Testament has alot of cred in the metal community.

I know this is comparing them to Metallica, but this is my opinion on that matter.
Metallica are the absolute fucking classic songwriters and are kick ass for that reason. Testament are the good songwriters, but are the better musicians.
They both rule
