The Waverley departs Rothesay for Largs on Thursday 25th August. This was the last Thursday sailing of the summer sailing and given the Waverley's troubles hopefully not the last EVER. However a little birdie told me that the Scottish Government is actively involved with the future of the grand old lady and long may her lum reek.

Beautiful pictures - brings back happy memories of my youth. Pleased to read the Scottish Government is "actively" getting involved with the Waverley - would be a catastrophe if she had to cease operations.
