  • This is the best series in Tango Instruction in ALL of YouTube. If you don't get it after this, then it's no fault of the teacher. After this try Tangocity, then watch Tango Helena to fill in any mysteries.

  • Try to make you 4th step a little shorter and also make sure to keep you partner in front of you. Of course it will help if I could see you do it , but in this case i can only help virtually :) good luck and happy tangos!

    Part 2 to my prior post. I remembered to mention the things that are difficult for me and forgot to mention a very important one:

    5. even when she does not come to a full stop to collect, she "passes through" collection. Watch how she goes back with the left foot in step #7 (which forms a backwards "L") to meet right foot before it becomes a side step to her left. If the follower does not collect after every step, she becomes impossible to lead.

    THANKS AGAIN FOR THESE VIDEOS.

  • THANKS!

    As a follower, I appreciate Claire Vivo's grace & precision and wish that more of what I see her doing was spelled out in the narration such as:

    1.she is maintaining a slight forward lean;

    2.she keeps her feet, heels together and toes out, in the shape of a "V";

    3.she extends the free leg back first before moving over it;

    4.I am not sure but, when going back, she seems to allow him to land a fraction of a second before she does.

    If not looking very closely, this could be missed.
