umm, i trying to speed up a song, when i import the song it's like a 3sec sound and i cant fix it, how do i undo this?

if you mean by ripping a cassette or LP, you plug an 8th to an 8th inch plug into the headphone jack of your player, and the other half into "Line In"

i was under the impression that you could use Audacity to record streemed songs e.g myspace songs? is this correct? cos i dont have a clue how to.

it's possible however you'll get less than desirable quality. There's actually a way to download the song file, if I remember correctly. Seeing as it's illegal to steal music however, there's a zero percent chance I'll do a tutorial on it.

.................i don't understand!!!!!!1 of course, math has to be in EVERYTHING! how do you chipmunk a song. if i import audio it won't let me use the effects

try selecting the area you want to make "chipmunk" sounding. Then go to Effects, and use either pitch or speed increase.

How Do you get your computer to record externally i know its a setting if u know leave a message.
