  • this is what i do....i took a chance and re-finished a 1985 kawasaki tecate fuel tank...idle hands are the devils playground. i know u can buy one for under 200$ but its not an oem tank. i have a huge desire to do my 86/87 tanks..

  • how did u ground? did you get fumes out? how did the powder held up so far? what temperature did you bake?....LOL omg. i got so many questions...

  • How well did the powdercoating hold up on your plastic tank? Did it last very long?

    Did you get any "bubbling" from the gas vapors passing through the tank walls?

  • So it's been nearly a year I've been watching your build. How'd the tank hold up? I'm a trike nut too and have a couple of Tecate's (etc., etc,. etc..). Clarke started making the A1/A2 tanks again, but they are junk with pin holes and flaws in them. So what would be the cost? I need one done in black and possible green like yours maxgarnica.-Robby
