I absolutely adore this song! The first time I heard it I could not believe it was the same band that sang "Just Remember I Love You". That song is ok, but it is typical pop-nothing really too special. This song is provacactive, deep and gorgeous. The music is top notch, especially the guitars and that beautiful, haunting flute. I just heard a clip of it on "Cold Case", so I really needed to hear the entire song. Thanks so much for posting the whole thing!

Love this song. It takes me back to 1979. But if I recall correctly, there was a video of this song several years back that was from the same concert as Firefall's Just Remember I Love You (currently a video posted by SkylineMusicLLC on YouTube-look at it and you'll see which concert I mean).....

[continued from below] Please show me in the lyrics where it talks about another lover. Please, cagekicker, show me in the lyrics where the woman is sad because she's unhappy with the relationship. That other guy deleted his message probably because he actually listened to the lyrics and realized he was wrong. It's just a song; it's not some elusive and arcane philosophy. How hard is it to pin it down for what it is?

She's trying to find a way out but is afraid to pull the plug and needs him as a safety blanket in case things don't work out........"that's a strange way to tell me you love me".
