Shows the range of angles for 3 positions at the edge. After selecting an angle: step back, hop back, and do a running dive. Lara lands with no damage. The middle position is best because the range is widest.

To use it, drop to the right when you enter the top dirt-filled hold. Climb in the passage to the right and throw the switch to open the door in the hold where you do the dive bug. Go straight there.
