Mazda 3 turbo (sp23)

My mazda 3 turbo..
built it myself.. and i work at Mazda so thats a bonus..

problems: too rich /backfire and old gearbox gave up on me.

running nitrated box now

mods: cbf... on the credits

@zoom3it20 go custom - use w/e turbo you want pref a gt30/71 or t28/70 but keep in mind about your gearbox. then agen you could trade it in for a mps and mod that.

only reason was because i wanted a sp23 sedan turbo :)

yeah it runs too rich and i cant seam to get the tuning perfect. but oh well i took the turbo off.. shh its my 3rd gear box now -___-

Hey, I got a question. I'm looking at getting the Mazda 3 SP23 non-turbo model. You guys know if it can be fitted with a turbo/turbocharger? Any names of turbo?

mines a 04 sp23 :) have a garret gt28 with a modified exhaust shaft .. basically its beter to get a kit already made but you can go custom .. but its your choice.. make sure you choose a good cpu.. or the car would just run like shit or even blow..

@j00hz what do you mean by keep in mind your gear box...? does the turbo mess up the gearbox? or do I have to convert it to be able to handle the power?

perhaps this explains the tranny wrecking to me... gt28 = insta spool = hard on the drive train. My t3/t4 is alot more progressive(ie slow ass spool lol).

you roasted a nitrated gear box? Didn't go billet on the 3rd and fourth gears? Mine is bone stock and hasn't gone yet, bout 15K put on it since boosted too. I'm only running 7-8 pounds though
