personally i will rate this is one among the best songs of the great SPB. especially due to the ragham. can listen to this song any no of time. truly a great song.

@cramsingapore , Just watched the movie clip of this amazing song. It was posted maybe for the first time on Y T recently. Am not surprised by my disappointment ... Could hardly tolerate watching the whole song.:-(
Its best for discerning fans to go by their imagination - to match with the fantastic lyrics / poetry by N.A.Pandurangan and the super composition of music by Dakshinamurthy (in Ragam Dharmaavathy)
So well done to you for choosing to give us a channel dedicated ONLY to just 'music'.

@kavikkalveedu hahaha...yeah the video is an intolerable cruelty, isn't it? vijyakumar walking up the stairs of the "rich man's house" (which seem to exist only in indian films, with two sets of stairs winding up...) and singing this classic in a melodramatic fashion! :) many of ilayaraja's masterpieces have also been butchered by the merciless directors!
