What's also incredible is that these wonderful recordings were preserved on the Edison label as Edison hated jazz and he also insisted on personally approving each recording.

Great music from that wonderful era! Before my time, but how it affects me! Jazz and popular music from the 1920's and 30's! What a treasure our country gave to the world of music!

Great tune. Inane lyrics.

Just got an original copy of this on Edison, along with a Diamond Disc machine....fantastic...!!
This is really delightful music.I could, and do,listen for hours, wasting my life in front of the PC-but,is this a waste? This is music for the ear,the heart and soul,Modern "music" cannot compare.Thank you for the clip.

"This music is 80 years old, been through a worldwide Depression, two world Wars, the Cold War and it is still here!"
Just one world war.... the first one was a decade before this.
