2000 Pontiac Bonneville SSEi 0-75

just got the car a week ago, I love it. its very fast. no upgrades yet. in this vid I was trying not to spin the tires because they're really bald, I had the TC on and I didn't stomp on it on the takeoff. so with new tires it would've been much better, and I was on a slight incline. leave comments!

i love all the haters (my COUSINS car this, and my BROTHERS car that lol) aside from cars of the "classic" era when computers didnt exist, pontiac never made anything better than the bonne. throw an over sized charger pully, a kk&m air system and tweak the computer a bit and you can have that v6 pushing 350hp. no grand am ever will have that. and if it does hes a dumbass redneck who shoulda bought a better car to start with.

Anyway, why are all these pontiac people fighting amongst each other? To be honest, coming from someone who has a pontiac passion and works on all of them, and is an owner of an '02 WS6, neither of you know wth you're talking about. Even on forums the only main debate is 'quality' which the Bonneville takes imo. For performance? They're identical... Same powertain, same drivetrain. The 200lbs makes but maybe a tenth in the 1/4...Bon is more luxury

@imserious2187 You are retarded, first off SSEi's only weigh about 200lbs more than the GTP, second those "long gears" are identical to the GTP's, they both have the same trans and differential ratio. Funny, my 03 ssei did 0-60 in 6.4 seconds with just a gutted airbox and drop in K&N filter.

@ramboman5780 take it to a dealer sounds like you have a problem, especially if the tranny is heating up bad. If you messed with the sc and put in a new system/boosted/etc. you need to add a cooling system.

Anyone had any problems with their 2000 ssei having brake warping issues? I've had to replace mine every 2 years which amounts to 1200 bucks. Seems kinda ridiculous to me. That and the transmission likes to shift rough the hotter it gets xP
