  • Bravissimo!!!

  • Impressive; there is a power and ease in his delivery which is not common.

  • @tenorismo I'd love to have his "non-career"!! He lasted a lot longer than Milnes too...but was based more in Europe and had less of the American BS publicity machine behind him. One of the true greats.

  • Gorgeous voice!

  • My favorite voice among modern baritones. Not the most subtle interpreter, but with a voice like that, who cares? I heard him live, once, in concert and he was stupendous.

  • BRAVO!

    UNO DE LOS MAS GRANDES

  • Espectacular!!! Tenia todo lo que se le puede pedir a un baritono!

  • Baritono FORMIDABILE.

  • What's all this talk about him not having a career? I first heard him on a recording of Le Villi - Puccini's first opera. He was a standout. I heard him live many years later singing Nabucco. What he didn't have was a recording contract or a berth at the Met.

  • Fantastic!!! Thanks for posting. Could you post also the cabaletta of this evening?
