"V-2 Schneider" is a largely instrumental piece written by David Bowie in 1977 for the album "Heroes". It was a tribute to Florian Schneider,[1] co-founder of the band Kraftwerk.

Thank you for posting this !!!!! I caught Bowie on the Earthling tour in Montreal on the second night. They played something that to my knowledge they had not done on any other date. They played Dead Man Walking, V-2 Schneider and The Last Thing You Should Do as one long 20+ minute medley/dance-party.

I was at the Hanover Grand nightclub in London when HE did this track, What a night, goes down as one of the best gigs ive ever been to of Bowies, this Bowie at his best NO DOUBT

The sound quality on this is excellent thanks for posting a rare track wish it had of been on the Reality Tour list but anyway it is here so all good.

@AlienHuman72 I saw him on the second night he played in Montreal on this tour. For the encores, he came out and said they'd like to try something that they'd never done before and see how it would work (a friend of mine saw them the first night and confirmed that they hadn't done this before). They played V2 Schneider back to back with Dead Man Walking and The Last Thing You Should Do, as one long techo jazzy jam. It lasted 20 minutes!!!
