Groundbreaking comedy-drama from 1994. This seminal tour de force spawned the career of many a household name including Chris Battie (sic) who puts in an arresting performance as a policeman and Graham Whitely (sic) who steals every scene as the charismatic yet ultimately unscrupulous caretaker. Interesting factoid: An alternative version exists of this film with a slightly different soundtrack as well as (superfluous) sound effects.
