We finally got a mention on News10! The report is very short and doesn't even scratch the surface of the illegal business practices--including constantly late and bouncing paychecks, the absence of worker's compensation insurance, hazardous work conditions, misreporting of wages to the government, and intimidation of workers trying to collect their wages--at the Sterling Hotel and Chanterelle Restaurant. My wedding reception was scheduled there for April 2010. We gave them $7400 in deposits for the wedding reception catering and hosting services. We went to the hotel on 01/07/2010 and they are refusing to refund our money!
