Battle on the Border High School Football Showcase

The Battle on the Border-High School Football Showcase was the first high school football showcase ever to be played in Independence Stadium. This historic sporting event will highlighted some of the top high school football programs in the southern region and country. The showcase took place at Independence Stadium in Shreveport, LA (home of the AdvoCare V-100 Independence Bowl) on Saturday, September 10th, 2011. The City of Shreveport envisions the Battle on the Border-High School Football Showcase to become a model in bringing wholesome athletic events to Independence Stadium and this region.
