I hated Bush as much as the next guy and I recognize the fact he is a hypocryte, but never the less we must acknowledge the fact that Russia needed all the help it could get, regardless of where it came from.
It's a good thing too that Bush intervened on some level, one of the few things I can say he did right, otherwise had The Russians succeded in their takeover o can say quite safely that aassacre could very well have ensued.

Let's face it, Russia hardly has a good human rights record. Look at the gulags, conquest of Germany(1945, mass murder/rape), Katyn Forest, up to the last Ossetian wars!
