Wire Brush Test & Some Rust Removal 1 of 2

I decided to put the drill to work on the Geo Metro by first getting rid of that paint test I did on the engine.

Then I went on getting rid of some rust spots.

thanks for the video.. why didnt you use a brass wire brush though? it wont remove much material from the aluminum valve cover like the steel one does. by the way, this is a very dangerous practice and people should wear a leather chest cover and a face shield.. my friend got hurt in his chest as a grinder wheel hit him hard. he also said "oh fuck!"

The trick is to hold it down and move extremely slow spot by spot instead of using it as a shaving blade up and down randomly.

I wouldn't have used that drill for that purpose, it is so easy to slip with something like that and I would want to use a drill that stops when I take my finger off the trigger.
