I don't agree with the translation on "Bringt mich dein Gefühl um den Verstand" It should be " Bring me your feelings in order to comperhen. Verb Bringen means to acciqure to carry to someone, to bring.

the verb being used in that line is actually umbringen, which means to kill. Here, "um" is a separable prefix that has been moved to a different position in the sentence (for example "es bringt mich um" = "it kills me).

I was confused for a bit while translating this line because i couldn't figure out why the "um" was there until i remembered that it could be attached to "bringen" to form another verb.

actually in this context it should mean

"your feeling robs me of my sanity"

um etwas bringen means to rob of something, and Verstand considering (we're talking Dero here, after all) is most definitely Sanity; trust me on this one, German here; Otherwise, good job ;)

I really have no intention to argue about this, I'm German, I know what  "Bringt mich dein Gefühl um den Verstand" means, without the help of a dictionary or some website. I've been married to an American for 20 years. I'm fluent in English, I dream in English, so I know how to translate it without a doubt in my mind.

It means "your feeling robs me of my sanity" If you're robbed of your sanity, you're mad, so yeah, you could say "you're feeling drives me mad"

This song reminds me of a bitch I knew. She manipulated my feelings for two years with skilled lies to make me feel such a strong pity that in the most intense moments I turned against my girlfriend for her.

I ended realizing that something was wrong there and the third year was one of constant mental abuse until I finally said "Fuck you". And leaved her to deal with all her shit alone hoping that she was just half as bad as she said so that she may get a clue of how fucked up she made my life.
