Christopher Hitchens—the incomparable critic, masterful rhetorician, fiery wit, and fearless bon vivant—died of cancer today at the age of 62. He was this age's Wm. F Buckley Jr. and Noam Chomski combined. His stands on issues ran the gamut and I can honestly say there isn't a person who is passionate about an issue or issues that wasn't gratified to find Hitch had come down on their side to be their champion in the ideological arena...by the same token, these same people...Us..We...have also cringed when faced with the proposition of defending our POV against Hitch...He was That fierce and that good. We will miss him.
Rest In Peace Christopher Hitchens
@bleutuber That's OK, h's dead now and if he's right, it doesnt matter anymore what we call him or say about him. Have you read his last piece for VanityFair? It's a harsh critique of death and dying. Always the trailblazer.

He hated to be called "Chris."
