This video contains Master Chukwuemeka's conversation with Evang. Becky Duru, who donated fund to support his treatment....

The life of Master Chukwuemeka Ikechukwu, an indigene of Isieke in Okigwe, Imo State, Nigeria is dear to us. He is an upcoming youth, a great Nigerian and African in the making!

For not giving up on life the night he was burnt by unknown persons who set their home ablaze, Master Chukwuemeka is destined to be great. Even though his parents are poor, and cannot afford to pay for his treatment, we want to show him that there are philanthropists and kind-hearted individuals, who care for the children of the world, no matter their race, colour, religion, etc.

In a short story narrated by Chukwuemeka's mother, we gathered that the young boy and his father were victims of a fire incident that gutted their home in August, 2008. At about 3.00 a.m. that fateful morning, unknown persons set their house ablaze and both Chukwuemeka and his father narrowly escaped death but sustained high degree burns.

We ran into Chukwuemeka and his family when our "PUT A SMILE ON SOMEONE'S FACE" project team rescued and rushed a woman that was involved in a ghastly motor accident to the Federal Medical Center, Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria. There at the FMC, we discovered that this 13 year old boy, Master Chukwuemeka has been on admission at the FMC since August 2009 and could not get adequate treatment due to his parents' inability to pay for his treatment.

We also learnt that his case has been referred to Enugu Teaching Hospital, Enugu State, Nigeria for further medical attention.

As a charity committed to Putting Smiles on People's Faces, we are therefore raising fund on behalf of his family. By the special Grace of God, a good Nigerian has paid Master Chukwuemeka's bill at the Federal Medical Center, Owerri, Imo State. The total money being sought is about three thousand, five hundred dollars ($3,500), which will enable his transfer to Enugu Teaching Hospital for plastic surgery and other medical attention.

One more thing... Chukwuemeka and his parents are now homeless! What can you do to support us in building a home for them?

We hereby passionately ask for the support of all kind-hearted individuals, donors, corporate organizations, etc to contribute to saving the life of this upcoming Nigerian and his family.
