There was a northern act called the Misfit who was brilliant on the clubs, he ended up having a great career here and abroad. He made it well in the theatres in plays and pantomime, and also had 5 theatre schools teaching children stagecraft.
So you don't have to make it big on the telly to be greatly successfull.

you may also ask as why didn't the other drag queens around the country not make it big either. i can name countless acts i have seen over the years who were brilliant but they did'nt make it to the small screen or even the Theatre's but were good in the clubs

I am sure, well positive that Billie had a very good living out of the business. You don't always need that big break to make a decent and rewarding living. However the chance would have been great for anyone and all the best to Lily for doing so well. However Billie has done really well for himself financially over the years, and good look to anyone who makes a good living out of the business. Billies ideas were original and not copied and flogged to death. (badly)

and youre saying that every drag act hasnt copied others, where is billie raymond now. if she was so amazing why did lily savage make it big and billie didnt, probably because she was mediocre

There was a great act called Billie Raymond who did this in england many years ago, i remember she had a cine film going. State of the art then early 80's not a tacky slide show just a few years ago.
You really should rehearse dear rather than just steal other peoples work, what an embarrassment.
