A new report shows the difficult economy has forced many to forego cancer treatment. Even insured patients are spiraling into debt, making tough decisions. Dr. Jon LaPook reports.
I am one of the patients mentioned in this report (though not in this video). I am very thankful that my cancer was caught early and is gone, and that unlike those featured in this video, my problem is just high insurance premiums and not medical bills that threaten my home. Unfortunately there are no easy answers to health cost issues, but at least reports like this one help to increase awareness of the problems many face. And don't kid yourself: it could easily be you.

Bless all those afflicted with cancer. No one should have to deal with it, it sucks.
