Alexandria Quartermaine is not pleased with Mikkos' demonstration and wants to know more about the freezing process on Port Charles. She convinces Tony to take her into the main plant where they meet a cold doom.

this is great....I was an infant when this s/l aired and it's so great to finally get to see Mikkos Cassadine on-screen

I would so love for Thaao Penghlis to return to Port Charles as Victor Cassadine when they finally do the Valentin storyline...Victor went to prison and was only presumed dead

@miggy25 I was very young too when this storyline aired and didn't get to see it in it's entirety until years later. I doubt we'll ever see the Valentin storyline now. They pretty much swept that under the rug, I hate to say. Maybe one day they'll change their minds but I doubt it. As far as Victor goes, I've heard he died in prison, but don't know when that was said on the show.

@sonyab1974 I have no idea. I know initially it was pushed back because the James Franco storyline and the guy who was to play Valentin was making a movie, but after that it just disappeared. I keep hearing rumors that they're still going to do it, but now almost a year later, I'm not getting my hopes up.

@Matuatay2 I would not be surprised if that story line comes back as we will require a reason for Helena to come back.

@admetric given that this year marks the 30th anniversary of the Spencer/Cassadine conflict (and Luke and Laura's 30th anniversary) Helena should be back with a huge storyline, if the idiots at GH even remember any of this stuff and write them a storyline.

Alexandria. GH's answer to Tracy. The actress had a brief part in Charlie's Angels, Season 3. Angels Ahoy. I missed this ep when she died. I was in school. No VCRs in those days. I miss those days!

I watched this show when it first aired and haven't seen it since!!! VCR's weren't as common as they are now! I loved Alex and was so upset when she went to her death.

I don't even remember this episode being the fact that I was born in 1981. It is good to see some early eighties episodes of general hospital.

I was a freshman in college during this storyline arc. I remember classes being 75% empty when GH was on-air (I believe it was at 3 to 4 om Eastern). The professors would get SOOO pissed off!!!! For one semester, Temple University tried to plan course times AROUND GH!  However, that only lasted one semester!

@Matuatay2 They need something new as Elizabeth is leaving the show and I guess she will take Aiden with her. Unless Nicholas can somehow get custody for him. If Aiden is there then that is a link for Helena to come back because of her plan.

I truly miss Helena. I love her on the show, though some of the story lines have been over the top. I was just waiting for Tracy to go after her to keep her man!
