Most likely the greatest import album of all time. This album is still way ahead of it's time today. It's too bad they were only played on the college radio stations back then. Even when Michael left the band and they brought in Uli Roth, they were producing music unlike anything ever heard anywhere else on the planet. It would have been incredible to have had them play state side before the Lovedrive album (Mathias era)

Dude, you are totally out of reality. Their first album is their worst. Michael is just full of epicness of course, but as a band they made bad music back then (excpet the song I'm Goin Mad perhaps). They really rocked only from Uli Jon Roth's era in the 70's, and their peak was in Mathias' era in the 80's. If Scorpions' music was commercialism, I don't know what isn't commercialism.

Once Michael left the band, they quite rapidly slid into commercialism.... If you want to hear what Scorpions _might_ have sounded like if Michael stayed, listed to UFO and MSG....
