Intense Records have secured an exclusive night of Drum & Bass at Chelmsfords hottest nightspot for 2010 the brand new Candy Club. Formerly known as Reds Nightclub, the club has been refurbished, the sound system beefed up and the whole vibe updated for the new decade in clubland.

To begin the new phase of clubbing in Chelmsford, we present to you Future Sound, the future sound of drum and bass brought to you by the pioneers of the scene alongside the stars of the future. Future Sound began 10 years ago in Birmingham, and have since held residencies in London, Southend and Chelmsford booking some of the scenes finest names along the way.

For Future Sounds 10th Bday and their first event at The Candy Club, we have pulled out all the stops and have enlisted from Kiss FM and Ganja Records , the original True Playa DJ Hype.

DJ Hype winner of the 1 Extra Best DJ Award has been at the forefront of the Drum & Bass movement from the early jungle days and now in 2010 leads us into the new decade with his, highly acclaimed Kiss Fm show, hugely successful record labels Ganja & Playaz, and not forgetting his ever popular Playaz event at Fabric.

Hosting for Hype we have the peoples favourites, hailing from the UNCZ camp the 2010 National D&B Award Winner MC Skibadee.

Future Sound backed by Hype & Skiba return to Chelmsfords clubbing scene on 'Maundy Thursday' 1st April, the day before Good Friday, so no work the next day and therefore no excuses.

With support acts from the Intense Roster playing the future sound of D&B , this is a night not to be missed, come join us and be part of the future.
