Thanks for the nice things you say about our band, 'the Litter'. We're doing a reunion concert, Sat., March 3rd, 2012, at Famous Dave's nightclub in Minneapolis.(last one was 5 yrs ago). Zippy Caplan's using vintage amps and fuzztones. Should be a blast!
Love and Peace

i think emerge is often overlooked because it has progressive leanings as apposed to the 1 st and 2 nd lps being of a garage ,psyche mould and closer together in style, but your right its equally amazing in its own right and shows a progressional route other similar bands dident make at that time ..jarl
Why is the album "Emerge" often overlooked? I went for 30 years without hearing it, and then scored a copy on ebay. Incredible album...way more musically sophisticated than the first two. Why is it alway swept under the rug?

"Distortions", "$ 100 Fine" and "Emerge" - three truly great albums by a truly great band. End of lesson.

'emerge' is the best one...record collectors tend to be closeminded to anything outside the mold.
