@akichita87 I fully agree, but you don't have to look at inbred dogs to see the problem. Look at the sad and disasterous situation among the Amish in parts of America. Only a few generations of restricted gene pool has developed genetic childhood diseases utterly unknown in the general population. Outbreeding is the best way to preserve a healthy species.

@VileIntentionsUS Genetic diversity WITHIN so-called racial groups is far greater than the genetic differences BETWEEN them. But actually, the uniformity of DNA thoughout all living organisms is quite amazing. Genetic reseach has given us a lot to think about. But IQ studies of racial groups, not so much. Examples: self-identified groups of blacks score below hispanics, next whites, but then come asians, higher than whites, and jews, who score, as a group, higher than all the others. Implies...?

But work continues because a little over 5% of our DNA are still unexplored; it's probable that, since they appear highly repetitive, they will offer little to our understanding--point being that as of today there is no scientific evidence of any racial differences in intelligence or reasoning. Watson's opinions were, and still are, based on testing alone, not objective science.

In 2007 James Watson (scientist given the Nobel Prize for co-discovering the structure of DNA & head of America's leading scientific research institution) pointed out that all manner of testing today indicates African intelligence to be significantly lower than that of Europeans. He estimates that within 5-7 years researchers will have fully isolated the code behind this. This echoes previous findings such as in The Bell Curve.
