The "ZAP Taxi" is built in conjunction with the Zhejiang Jonway Automobile Company. The vehicle is
based on the Jonway A380 SUV, and uses ZAP's electric motors. The vehicles will be capable of running at
normal speeds.

  • EvTaxi and swapstations are now a reality. All major cities in the US should replace the taxi fleets w non polluting EV taxis,good for the city...good for the people and the environment. Keep posted w EV Taxi developments at EvTaxi.com

  • great. 5 year old design copied from other manufacturers. well hey, at least the quality is good.. wait, no it isn't. chinese cars suck.

  • Excellent idea. The 3 wheeled wonder was a silly idealistic idea that would have flopped. This has merit. Takes over where the Toyota Rav E left off, except this time the battery patents can't be brought up by an oil company and screwed as it was with the Rav E.
