  • I support Issue 2 . this brings accountability to police, fire, water/sewage, street repair, & every tax paid employee. The days of receiving benefits, raises, and bonuses while riding on your hardworking coworkers coat tails is done! Many states are changing to incentives based on work ethic and work effort by the INDIVIDUAL!!!! Some of the loudest mouths repealing this that i know wouldnt still be on the job even @ a fastfood restaurant. Pay & Bonus based on performance-welcome to OUR world!

  • @jaydayfadeaway1 - Watch my vid Money vs Safety, This will show you what the Politicians you put so much trust in would do to us. And under SB5 we could not stop them. After watch ask yourself this. Would you or them be willing to put on 10 year old gear or damaged gear of any age and go into a Training fire, where temperatures are 3 times what you cook your pizza at? ( ever reach into a oven with an oven mit that has a hole or worn spot) u don't know what you are talking about!

  • Noggin- What's wrong with using images of firefighters in a video about firefighters? You are really offeneded by the fact that SB5 will be repealled!

  • Ohio has spoken!! Senate bill 5 is dead. The Republican attempt to destroy the middle class in Ohio has not worked. Gov. Kasich is going down next!! We will bring democracy back to this nation!

  • @thizzle7xu And i know lots of Government employees making less than 50,000.00 a year. They get 6 hours of annual a pay period, contribute to their pension plan as well as social security and health care. i am one of them.If people have a big problem with Government workers maybe they should join us and find out how difficult most of these jobs are.Your uncle probably earns every penny he makes.

  • @hrsouder I know lots of cops. They have desk jobs, make near $100,000 a year, and get about 3 months of paid vacation a year. And because they are vested in their pension, for every couple of years they stay on, they get massive increases in their pay and pensions at set intervals (like $10,000+ more a year just for sticking around and not retiring in their late 50's). My uncle is one of these cops.

  • @republicansrule Republicans rule nothing. The only disgrace is what republicans want to do to this country.Learn your history and what unions had to go through for people to get a decent living wage and some benefits.....what benefits you ask, well that is where your republicans rule comes in.

  • @thizzle7xu What planet are you from? Go work as a fire fighter or a cop and come back after six months and tell me how you feel.As for the Government not keeping workers down again i ask you what planet are you from?

  • @jaydayfadeaway1 tHE Accountability is already in place . I am a public employee and my evaulations can effect my pay already! it has been in our contract for many years. Public employees do not get bonuses. And most public employees have not had raise in years so there is very little fear of merit raise when you havent had a raise in years. I bet you didnt know that? The private sector has recieved an average of over 3 % raises for 9 staight years while we have only 4 years of raises in same

  • @thewindowguy1 They aren't wiping out Unions at all. This is only for public unions, which shouldn't exist in the first place. The government has no competition to conspire with and keep workers down. And public unions will still be able to bargain for wages.

  • @jaydayfadeaway1 well ur right in some cases but one size does not fit all cant wait till it is repealed and cant wait till next election when john kasich and shannon jones are memories republicans are a done deal in ohio this is not about budget this is about trying to wipe out unions for political purposes cant wait to watch kasich eat shit

  • @jaydayfadeaway1 -THIS IS THE TYPICAL UNION RESPONSE -SCARE YOU INTO VOTING FOR THEM! THIS IS A UNION DISGRACE! Where is the pi8ctures of SEIU beaiting yp people who oppose them like the guy in Philadelphia. Do NOT fall for this BS! The UNION FORCE thier rank and file members to pay dues which 95 % go to Democrat Party!

  • @jaydayfadeaway1 Where's the accountability for Politicians?? Legislators make more than the average firefighter in Ohio for a PART TIME JOB. Where's there pay cut?? What's YOUR idea for how merit pay will work for govt. employees?? I haven't heard a single thing out of ANY politician yet. Know why? 'Cause they DON'T HAVE A CLUE. We have accountability, we requires certification for our jobs.
