Why has she done absolutely no investigation? This is one long art critique, suffused with attempts to prove Sickert, like hundreds of other people, sent fake ripper letters to the police.
Incredibly diappointing and such an utter waste of money and time.

This is straight out of Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
'How do you know he is a murderer?'
'HE LOOKS LIKE ONE!'
Very flawed 'investigation', basically working back to front.
Usually, you follow clues and evidence which lead you to a suspect. In this case, she seemed to choose her suspect, and then pick the clues and evidence that suited.
Egotistical hokum.

What a ridiculous woman! She is so sure that her suspect is the murderer, even to go as far as to call him an "evil old man!" Even on the worst evidence ever produced she is 100% sure. Walter Sickert merely had a fascination with the case. He was one of the first Ripperologists!

by watching this video, its the reason why patricia cornwell is one of the top author ever!

Yeah, it was mostly about her.
But she did give some good insights into the killer's methodology.
However, she hasn't conclusively proven that he is the killer at all. All she has really proven is that he may have written some of the letters, and most of the letters are phonies anyhow. From the lurid subject matter of his paintings and the story about him wanting to sketch the scene of the Camden Town murder, he seems like the kind of person who would find that amusing.

@Macque77 Did you read her book?

@10delaware She said that she spent six million dollars and 13 months of her life working on the case. That's a lot of money to spend, but she honestly feels that it was worth it. When she said "i haven't had a life " she meant that during work on the case that she put everything into it.

As much as i like to watch a good documentary about The ripper, i felt like this should have been named, Patricia cornwell's life with some reference to the ripper. There were some bits that i thought were really good, i.e her demonstration with the shaving blade and the coroners views on the last killing. But other than that, i didnt want to hear about how her father left her family, or how she arrived at her career, or her displays of wealth, or when she was raped. but Thankyou for uploading.

James Kelly was Jack the Ripper.

Patricia Cornwell lost a lot of street cred with these shenanigans.
I can't say this is the worst Jack the Ripper documentary ever, because it's not really about Jack the Ripper; It's about Patricia Cornwell. "I haven't had a life" doesn't sound too convincing when you are driving around in your Ferrari, flying in your private jet and playing in your pool by your mansion with your dogs and bragging about how you just spent six million dollars.

I think it's interesting that at the conclusion all the British people were going, "Some idiot is going to believe this noncense." And all the americans were going, "SHES CONVINCED ME!"
