Kitty is a mini-boss in the extra downloadable content. Most of the downloadable content is only downloaded after buying it, however I preordered the game and it came with a code which unlocked this bonus dungeon.

***SPOILER***

I started this dungeon by talking to a merchant who told me about a Golem known as Shale which could be controlled by a "Control Rod" and can only be activated by a secret word. He marks on my map the location of this half-abandoned village which the Golem is located and I head there.
Upon getting there, I find that the Golem is inactive and that the secret word doesn't work on him so I investigate. I head into a house in this half abandoned village to find a few villagers who're protecting themselves against a small horde of monsters. I kill the monsters and help them.
One of the men tells me about the Golem and says that his grandmother changed the activation-word and that he'll tell me the phrase if I help find his missing daughter. I accept the terms and search for his daughter.
Deep within the house is a room with a puzzle, along with a girl and a demon-possessed cat called "Kitty", The cat tells me that there's no way she'll allow the girl to leave this room but if I help her posses the girl, she'll allow her to see her father. The demon was poly-morphed into a Cat and sealed within this room which is also sealed by a puzzle which only a humanoid person can solve. The girl can't solve the puzzle so they ask me to help, I accepted and and am forced to choose between two options:
1. Allow the demon-possessed cat possess the little girl or...
2. Disallow the demon-possessed cat to possess the little girl.

Each outcome will result in new outcomes where some of your party will start to loath you or love you.
You can choose to be Good, or Evil in this game.

  • Fucking morons ......the pause feature is so you can actually issue orders to those in your party, to choose who they attack, to move them into position, etc, etc. This is why games these days suck, because of developers catering to the console kiddies.

I just played Dragon Age 2 and it sucks. They dumbed it down so much that it now just feels like an action rpg and no longer tactical. Another good title down the shitter due to console fags.

  • @mick15203 I agree 100% with ya. It's because consoles have such a large community compared to us PC gamers, which really sucks because companies like Epic Games and Bioware now cater to more than what the originally made games for. This usually isn't bad, but this is the result, dumbed down games for the console fags. I have Dragon Age 2 preordered, I really hope it isn't that bad... I've heard that you control one character that's already made instead of you making your own character and class

  • @Zeemis You can play the demo for DA2 thru Steam, if you have it give it a go. The game is gorgeous but in my opinion that's where the game ceases to shine. The rest is quite frankly horrible/rubbish. If you are like me and what attracted you to Dragon Age Origins was the complex tactical aspect and the nostalgic feel the game gave in regards to older titles like Baldurs Gate you will sorely be let down. You can still pause the game and issue orders but you could easily play the game w/o as well

  • @mick15203 I bought DA1 for those exact reasons, I loved Baldurs Gate and the other games that used the Infinity Engine. I also have DA2 preordered, it's already bought. I'm prepared for a let down because of what I've heard, but I love Bioware.

  • @Zeemis playing DA2 much better much harder, DA1 was to easy ruined a good game

  • @messi996 What made Dragon Age: Origins and Awakening easy was the Arcane Mage or whatever. It was simply broken. The bosses in both games are fairly fun and enjoyable, as are the ones in this game. I do admit however, the High Dragon (which I just killed and am uploading a video of it now) is much harder in Dragon Age 2.

  • @mick15203 consoles are fine and i hate pc fags that keep saying pc is so much better. the thing is so many people dont have a good graphics card and or anything for thier pc and dont want to pay for a good one. you know i really dont find it fun to spend a minute or two to issue commands.thats only necessary sometimes in kotor, but most of the time you can just have every one attack the same target one at a time and you will be fine.and it seems like bioware is the only co.imuch pref rt. combat

  • You make kitty ANGRYYYYYY!!!!

  • this is so much better on PC then on XBOX 360, only reason i have to play this on my xbox cause my PC is too weak to run this game, but when i buy a new PC i'll have to replay it

  • @Zeemis i never speced into arcane mage tbh what made them easy i though was potion spams awakening had some great boss concepts, the first one after u get justice was great as well as , the big ass brw mother at the end(cant think of name) if it wasnt very broken(ie u just go to conor and spam here down) da 2 to me feels much harder played like 20 hours now(in 2 days which is a bit much:P) and every where i go even thogh its just the start is damn hard and requires u to no the area u fight in
