Don't get burned by the cheap junk sold on eBay. Are fake parts a good deal? I say NO! I'd rather spend my money on authentic parts that last and are in spec.

  • Hi Vegmatic1966, Great Videos! I am trying to learn how to fix a 1953 Zenith 6 tube radio and watched your video about how tubes work. Your laid back narration and clear explaination is really helpful. I hope you never get tired of making videos.

  • we like your videos. you do a good job.

  • What were they thinking with that capacitor? I think I might be a victim of cheap counterfiet parts, in one of my earlier electronic progects, I made something according to the schematic I had, but it just didn't work as good as it should.

  • Thanks to you too vegmatic. If it wasn't for folk like you I'd not really be bothered with electronics as I was rubbish at school with maths etc, I'm just re-learning the basics after many many years away from the hobby. So I really appreciate the time you take putting the vids together.

  • They are pretty intersting man, at least for people like us! Keep it up! and thanks for sharing! BTW, I usually buy components on Ebay and I haven't had problems yet luckily.
