  • No rap... You ruined it!

  • People who use "pedestrian" are so verbose and sophomoric.

Really though? How can you discount a whole genre, movement? How in the world can hip hop/rap be "pedestrian" when it's influenced a generation in the clothes they wear, to how they talk, consume, live? I'm not sure Feist can say that much despite her being amazingly talented.

  • Why do these dumb motherfuckers have to ghetto everything down?

  • this is awesome!!!

  • What rap song did you remix this with?

    I think its brilliant :)

  • @lyjahbaer their are artists in hip hop , who produce their owns records , dj the cutz , spit the rhymes , and every other intangible thing that goes into making music , comparing complexity lol and difficulty is dumb , just appreciate the music

  • @java81 well said , and also people should keep in mind that feist likes hip hop , and has been on a few underground hip hop records , if she understands the difference of musicality within the genre of hip hop why can''t other people , stop degrading other peoples art.

  • Feist herself likes hip hop so I'm she'd love it.

  • I like it. I love hip hop and lovethe song...nice.

  • the people arguing and trying to use big words and generally being dicks in these comments are totally gay

  • i realize it's been two weeks since you and dude went at it, but i just re-ran across this and wanted to elaborate.

i don't agree with dude's take on "talent" and whatnot. dude was kinda putting words in my mouth. when i say pedestrian i'm just making the case that hip hop hasn't yet reached a level of abstraction to reveal the full emotional range other forms of music can reflect.
