Busted out the old Life-Like racing tracks and decided to see how they'd look in high-speed filming. This is all filmed at 600 frames per second.

Thanks for the tip. It still doesn't work though. The controls are falling apart from use. Do you recomend a certain brand of track?

@Rte57 I have the same Life Like brand you do. The controllers might need cleaning too. Hard to tell without using a volt/ohm meter on them to test them. Seems likely they could be worn out, they might only be dirty, not sure what the best way to clean them though.

Lucky you. I only have 16 feet. You can see a video of it on my channal. By the way, what would make a track run eraticly?

@Rte57 Usually it's just a dirty track. What helps is to take some WD40 and put a little on a cloth and wipe the metal runners on the track. Even just using a dry cloth and polishing the runners will help too, removes the layer of oxidation that prevents good electrical contact.

@Rte57  I got a bunch of sets when a toy store went out of business for free. They were open boxes and I was friends with the manager. I probably have over 150 feet of track, maybe more.
