I love Kurt Rosenwinkel, and LOVE this exercise. Can you tell me about your guitar? I've never seen one quite like that.... Except for some of the ones Kurt uses. Is it safe to say that that guitar is of the same brand? The tone is really crisp and clear. Great video man!

Thanks for your complements. This is a Japanese handcrafted guitar,called SeventytSeven. It is not one the Kurt uses, but it has similar appointments.
The kurt exclusively uses Japanese made DAngelico NYSS, which has spruce top,which is a modern appointment of thinline semi hollow guitar. In the clip,the guitar is Albatross Jazz model by SeventySeven.
It has guage 10 on,but it sounds more jazzier with 11s and 12s.
