Dave have you done a video on how to waterproof canvas? If you have can you tell me the title if not can you suggest something. I have heard of linseed oil and turpentine but wondering if you know anything better? Thanks man love the vids and what you do.

IRE:NATURAL DYES. I've seen my wife dye cotton and other natural fabrics using old coffee grounds and old tea bags. It was enough to take her fabrics from bright white to light tan or beige color. I don't know how color fast they were long term,. After unsuccessfully trying to get coffee stains out of my white work shirt though, I imagine that they would be fairly persistent and easy enough to redye even if they faded..,

@teenprepper96 I don't remember the exact name of the hat, but i do know that he mentioned the name in one of his Journal of the Yurt videos, not sure which one but it was in the upper 20's or lower 30's.

@soldier715 I would guess that fat is easier to come by than beeswax. i would prefer beeswax but i would settle for fat.

Dave why do you choose fat/grease for your axe handle over something like Beeswax that gives a nice semi tacky feeling, just personal preference?

@teenprepper96, You can find hats like that at the Boyscout shops if you have one near you. I don't know if they have the BS Emblem on them or not though.
