its one of the most beautifull town in whole europe...my father was born in this city...

but i think in future other people...not croatian...maybe german,english or russian will buy everything and destroy our culture of more than 1000years.

MrMarkiolo please go to a city library and read something about the southslavic people in southeasteurope.Maybe you ask for books about "REPULIPIKA RAGUSA" and you will be maybe shocked as a serbian nationalist, but dubrovnik was and is in all time croatian-dalmatian. and dalmatian language is croatian(slavic) mixded with italian and frenchc. Ask somebody from a university, who stiudy croatistic(croatian languagev). But dont forget DRUZE Croatian and serbs got the same slavic roots. mir s tobom.

yes yes , ti si druze moj totalno u kurcu. When you write Cveta Zuzoric or NIKOLA TESLA, yes then your right they were croatian serbs. You forget NIKOLA TESLA!!! But Rudjer Josip(=not serbian JOSIF) BOSKOVIC, Marin Drzic and IVAN(not serbian JOVAN) GUNDULIC were totally croats and catholics bro, sorry. i think you got the wrong sources. And in thousand years of REPUPLIKA RAGUSA there were influencend by venetians, croats,ottomans,french and serbs,yes but most of croats!

Movie " Occupation in 26 pictures" by croatian director Lordan Zafranovic is talking how Croats during World war II. was killing Serbs from Dubrovnik, and how brutall was Croats.

In Italian parlament, a few days ago, march 2011. one italian officer who was in Yugoslavia during the War II. toled to members of Italian parlament, that first genocid in Europa did Croats against Serbian people. That kind of savageri and brutality what Croats did against Serbians, human eyes never see before.

Dear Ante ! In the 1000 years of town Dubrovnik history Serbs was participate more then 80%. Very famost writers, artists and scientists was Serbian, like Rudjer Boskovic scientis, Marin Držić and Ivan Gundulić, writers was Serbs too. Marko Murat painter, Cveta Zuzoric; they was Serbians too. And many many Serbian people , the most talented and the most cultural and famost was Serbians. The first faramcy in Dubrovnik was on serbian lenguage . You can see it now in your museum in Dubrovnik.

Dubrovnik is nice town , but it is not "the most beautiful town in the whole Europa " as you say. I spent so much time in Dubrovnik because I was thinking so before. But now I know thta in Europe are more beautiful towns; much more then Dubrovnik. Mikonos in Greece, Barcelona, Roma , Paris, Belgrade:) Part of beauty in one town are people. People from Dubrovnik are not kinds . They hade strangers. A lott of them are ksenofobic; read the posts from here !

In 2011 or 2012 Croatia will be the last country in the european union.

At this moment 80.000 houses depends to foreign people like german, austrian, italian,serbian,etc. in dalmacija what a shame. just remember republika ragusa next powerfull might in the adrija in 17. and 18. century.

and the following situation will be that croatian wont be able to decide about political and economic topics of there country.
