No, this is all based on montage capacities.
You don't hi-z just for the fun of it, you automatically go hi-z(change to input and read the voltage). I can send you the code and an image that illustrates the idea. Somehow I can't upload a comment with a link in it.

I have a question,
the LED is blinking, is that because you are using the LED as source and sensor? thanks in advance

Sorry for the long wait for a reply, I was on holiday to England. Back on topic: The led's blinking because approx. half of the time it's polarised backwards, and the other half it's polarised properly. When it's polarised backwards the LED doesn't emit any light. I hope that is the answer you wanted. If you need more help, just ask.
