Every time I show one of these in my music classroom, I feel that I am able to reach into the lives of my students and truly change their perspective on the way the world works. I teach at a school which is dominantly from one background and culture, and I feel that as their music teacher, it is my job to show them these videos so that they might gain an understanding of the world beyond their small community-- a world where music IS the language that unites all people. Thank you for doing this.
