Definitely sounds like Sid to me. I cringed when he kept asking him to sing My Way. Don't think they were trying to provoke him though, I just took it as them being incredibly naïve.

We spoke to a couple of girls in the office and gave them some bluff story about wanting to speak to John Simon Beverley to wish him Happy Birthday. They gave us his home phone number - they must have really been out of it. We rang up there and then, but the man himself wasn't in - according to Nancy, who spoke to us....

This is the wost telephone interview i've ever heard ,you can't hear Sid.I t's hard to believe it is really Sid on the phone,but if it is Sid it sounds like he's so bored he just wants to get this thing over with.
