Here's a quick demo of the TSG Chaoss Box Prototype, a circuit-bent TV remote control. The IR light was replaced with a minijack socket.

By messing around with the buttons, a lot of interesting sounds can be made. A switch has also been added, which allows the user to switch between the normal and 'chaoss' modes.

  • so by putting a input jack onto a tv remote you got all of these sounds?

  • yes

  • Something just burned out on the board , it is dead now

  • What modifications did you make to the remote, besides swapping the LED for a jack?

  • An input from a transistor has been connected to one pin of the chip. This connection has been made switchable.

Apart from that, in this video, nothing actually. The newer version has some more modifications, we'll upload another demo in a few days.
