I actually got very lucky, my parents paid for me to get lap-band surgery 3 years ago. Yes, it's expensive, but then so would have been the medical bills for other problems because of my weight. I think we all do what works for us at the time. I don't knock what you did at all. I think it's great. I'm a cheerleader for anyone who desides to lose weight any healthy way they can. :) Best wishes and Happy New Year!!!!

@celinejen I am not wealthy by any means....frankly the only reason I'm able to afford it at all is due to tax refunds, student refunds, and I moved into my boyfriend's house which is $100 rent instead of $658....I understand the funding aspect of it can be difficult. If you EVER can dig up the funds for it, it's so worth it. *hugs* Best wishes to you!
