@Daghead Why so bitter? Did you have some bad experiences in the 60's?
-
If that ain't Ann-Margret, she sure could be her stunt double.
-
Ugh, fuck this era.
-
@evilgrows A contributer name of tedflix dropped something close to it, semi-instrumental with some of the lyrics,.

Apparently, tangy but foggy doesn't cut it, except for Fresca. Why? I fondly remember Wink and wish the new Mountain Dew White Hot(?) tasted more like it. Let's see how long that one lasts.

Yes - it's Ann_Margret. Look at the million dollar version of the commercial for the same campaign. Classic 60's shtick for over two minutes!
Search for Ann-Magret Canada Dry

This almost sounds like it could have been some of the inspiration for the jingles the Carpenters did in the '70s for the Japanese brand Suntory. "Lighten up your day with pop and pop...."

Ann-Margret the GREAT!

Wink was a similar drink to Squirt. Then Coke came out with Simba which did'nt last long. Fresca was similar but was just a diet drink only. Ann could make anything look good.

Even before Annie and Nancy, there was Donna Loren as the Dr. Pepper girl, singing a Dr. Pepper jingle. You can see a clip right here on U-Tube, under Donna Loren. And, of course, there was Joanie Sommers, the singing voice of Pepsi-Cola. Her jingle was Pepsi! For Those Who Think Young (a bigger hit, in a way, than Johnny Get Angry).
The great Ann-Margret always gives me that pop-pop tingle. Thanks for posting!

She also does Canada Dry w/Wink included but this is different. Never seen this one. i wonder what year this was. Ann-Margret supposedly had 4 billboards on Sunset Boulevard(according to her book)in 1964.
