the point is that there are diffrent wrestlers at certain times to entertain people.

Golden Era 1990-1997 Vader, HBK, Bret Hart, Hulk Hogan Undertaker Doink etc

they had little or no storylines then but they put great matches then

Pre Attitude era (near to attitude) 1997-1999 Bret hart, Stone Cold, Kane, Undertaker, Ken Shamrok Debut of the rock etc

the mic skills were awesome, and a hell lot of cursing.

ATTITUDE- Stone cold, the rock, kurt angle, triple h etc

cursing, blood sex etc

Personally wwe being PG is not the problem i think that wwe are just biest and give cena and orton the spotlight wwe needs to give other ppl the spotlight cuz god forbid orton and cena get a carrer ending injury then what do you do then?

@WCWnumba1 Good point. It's not the lack cussing that makes it childish 2 me. What made PG corny 2 me before Rock, Austin and Punk started using foul language this year was all the campy segments with Hornswoggle, D-X, John Cena and all the dumb guest hosts. I know WWE can b comedic once in a while but drop the dumb jokes. Even some G-rated comedies r funnier than that. Santino Marrella may portray an Italian stereotype but at least his jokes r witty.

@Mr1131988 I totally agree with most of your points but I think saying the segments and other content is childish is kinda false, mostly because sure they don't cuss but they certainly don't have promos where the argue like children.

@REDRAPIST I prefer TV-14 because wrestlers will have more freedom to say or do what they want. At the same time, there's so much that can b done with PG despite the limitations. PG or not, as a fan I could do away with too much blood or overly sexual content. When The Rock returned, I realized PG wasn't the problem. From 2009-2010, I was so fed up with their programming that I quickly blamed the rating but now I understand good writing and character development will triumph over everything.
