Stalag 112B.1

Stalag Luft 112B: An example from a previous war but still a great deal to be learnt here. We've never had anyone escape yet in Leiderhozen but if you can provide the outfit you're welcome to try. In fact the acting Escape Officer has a great and strange desire to see Robert Wagner in Leiderhozen- she doesnt know why, she just thinks he could pull the look off.
Carter's father makes a brief apperance here. Oh we havent got an arrival committee yet- maybe we should form one. Or a diversion officer, we dont have one of them either. Anyway enjoy nice Mr Palin

  • I ripped my yarn as hard as I could to this episode .i.

  • Its ironic, in WW1 you had a better chance of survival as a POW then in the trenches.

  • Roy Kinnear - Mr Salt (Willy Wonka) - thanks

  • Serco ought to be replaced by a German outfit to run The Villawood Detention Centre & alike, after a look at this. What !

  • It is hardly even amusing - ( canned laughter)

  • It's WW1. If I'd been captured by the Germans I sure as hell wouldn't want to bloody escape either haha.

  • The music at the beginning after the opening credits was used to herald the Phantom Flan Flinger on Tiswas.

  • If Major Attenborough tries to scupper any further escape attempts remember that he can be rendered harmless by singing showtunes very loadly and slightly off key.
