Albanian Lies in the U.S Senate (2/3)

This video from the U.S. Senate which was taken in May of 1998 depicts former New York Congressman and now President of the Albanian American Civic Legue (AACL) Joseph DioGuardi's effort to lobby for the independence of Kosovo in front of a key member of the Senate and now Vice President, Joe Biden.

Something which you should keep in mind when you watch this hearing is that the Albanians didn't fool anybody in Washington. The truth is that the Americans make friends based on what the goals for the day are, they don't set up goals based on who their friends are, and they certainly don't see it as their obligation to protect human rights in every corner of the world - or any part for that matter - as the self-decleared leaders of the free world who as such think they can do whatever they want and still get away with it without answering to anybody.
