The fact is... The US is backed by a $13 Trillion a year economy. And about $400 BILLION of that, a YEAR, goes out the rest of the world in aid. Let that bounce around a bit. Almost half a Trillion dollars a year in aid. That's food, building of water plants, clothes, medical, schools, roads, training, security, health awarness, wheelchairs. Thats right wheelchairs. Alot of em. Means ALOT to families who have relative who cannot walk. Many for kids. Is the US perfect. Of course not. We try.

There was a major difference between Katrina and the earthquake in Haiti: The citizens of New Orleans HAD A WARNING. They were told to evacuate because a category 5 hurricane was heading their way. Yet, many of those capable of leaving chose to stay.
On the other hand, the Haitians had no clue a catastrophic earthquake would devastate their homes and community this week. Thus, I'm no sure you can really compare the two tragedies.

@ConFuochiFatui Funny how you talk about IQ yet you fail to form a coherent sentence. Honestly, I don't think Americans care what the world thinks of us, I don't. People outside of the US never seem to recognize the positive things the US does for the rest of the world, it just gets swept under the rug. I doubt that the country your from has even lifted a finger to help the victims in Haiti. Educate yourself, I doubt you've ever met an American in the real world. Your quite the keyboard warrior
