A photographic journey of a few lighthouses I have visited to the sounds of "Lighthouse" by The Waifs. I've always been fascinated with lighthouses and the stories that surround them -- tales of shipwrecks, rescues, romance and hauntings. Architecturally, I have found that lighthouses are amazingly diverse, each with its own unique design and setting. And, although American lighthouses have been around since the 1700s, many have fallen into disrepair, and are subjected to vandalism and storm damage. Lighthouses convey a powerful sense of place, some located in stunningly, beautiful remote areas and others anchored securely in the hearts of the communities they serve.

  • @jupytr1 Thank you for your kind words and also for watching it. It was just as fun creating this as it was traveling to all of these sites. Brought back great memories! Thanks again!
